DESCRIPTION:In the context of the Anderson model\, Minami proved a Wegner 
 type bound on the expectation of 2 x 2 determinant of Green's functions. W
 e generalize it so as to allow for a magnetic field\, as well as to determ
 inants of higher order (joint work with A. Vaghi). Related recent work by 
 others will be reviewed.
