DESCRIPTION:I will describe recent data from colliders\, potentially point
 ing to the existence of a new force. A new feature is that this new force 
 is felt to different extents by the different families of fundamental part
 icles. The putative new force comes with a heavy force-carrying particle t
 hat may be produced and detected directly in the Large Hadron Collider\, w
 hich would provide "smoking gun" evidence for it.\n\nAbout the Speaker: Pr
 ofessor Ben Allanach is a professor of theoretical physics at the Universi
 ty of Cambridge\, in the Theoretical High Energy Particle Physics Group. B
 eyond the Standard Model phenomenology. he is interested in Large Hadron C
 ollider signals of new physics\, b physics anomalies and searches at a Fut
 ure Circular Collider\, interpreting data and calculating the supersymmetr
 ic spectrum.
