DESCRIPTION:In the past twenty years\, the discovery of neutrino oscillati
ons has changed our understanding of neutrinos. We now know that they have
mass and they mix and\, thanks to a broad experimental programme\, a rath
er precise picture has emerged of their properties. The explanation of neu
trino masses implies new physics beyond the Standard Model (BSM) which is
still to be unveiled. In this talk\, I will briefly review the current kno
wledge of neutrino properties\, highlighting the still open questions. I w
ill then discuss the origin of neutrino masses in models BSM and their pos
sible observational consequences\, from leptogenesis to colliders.
