DESCRIPTION:The notion of a holonomic D-module is a powerful tool in geome
 tric\nrepresentation theory. We study a p-adic analytic analogue by\nintro
 ducing the notion of a weakly holonomic D-cap-module on a rigid\nanalytic 
 space. As the name suggests\, there are some notable\ndifferences to the c
 lassical theory. This is joint work with\nKonstantin Ardakov and Simon Wad
 sley.
