DESCRIPTION:With guest speakers: Kim Wedral-Rooke\, Partner\, Taylor Vinte
 rs\; Rakhi Rajani\, Associate Partner\, QuantumBlack and Anne Boisier-Fouc
hé\, Shine Senior Leader\, Shine For Women.\n\nWhat does it take to lead
? How do you recruit a great team that can support you as you power your b
usiness forward?\n\nThe workshop starts with an energising and interactive
session that challenges the stereotypical image of a leader. This session
is facilitated by Anne Boisier-Fouché from Shine For Women and will expl
ore how you can influence others and create impact. Be prepared to get on
your feet! The session will leave you with some key takeouts which you can
use within work and life. Shine For Women partners with major organisatio
ns all over the world making the corporate world a more human place.\n\nTo
shine as a leader\, you need a good team and we have an international emp
loyment law expert for you. The session will be followed with a talk by Ki
m Wedral-Rooke\, Partner at Taylor Vinters\, on people strategy considerat
ions to support scaling up your business. Kim will discuss topics such as
a forward-looking recruitment approach\, identifying the best skills for y
our business\, as well as building and retaining an efficient team in a fa
st growth environment. The talk also presents practical insight on other k
ey factors such as role model behaviour and how to embed transformative di
versity and inclusion.\n\nRakhi Rajani will then follow with a talk on inn
ovative ways for building and leading teams. During her career\, Rakhi had
to interview thousands of candidates to grow teams from scratch. She look
ed beyond the CV and her far-from-ordinary interview questions took candid
ates by surprise and disrupted classic recruitment styles. Rakhi believes
that we often have a fixed view of what makes a great leader\, but solving
today’s problems requires different types of teams and new interpretati
ons of leadership. Her talk will explain how.\n\nLed by Dr Ghina M. Halabi
\, Director of EnterpriseWOMEN.\n\nEnterpriseWOMEN is an outcome-driven an
d highly-focused programme. The talks are tailored for early-stage women e
ntrepreneurs who are starting or scaling their businesses. Registration is
essential. We strongly recommend registering early to ensure you get a se
at. There is limited capacity of 50 places.
