DESCRIPTION:I will discuss the construction of twisted equivariant D-modul
 es on rigid spaces. Ardakov and\nWadsley have been instrumental in the dev
 elopment of the theory of D-modules on rigid spaces. The classical\npictur
 e suggests there should be some notion of equivariant D-modules on rigid s
 paces\; I will outline this\nconstruction and then explain some of the sur
 prising features of the theory of the twisted version. If time\npermits I 
 will discuss some potential applications and connections to the p-adic loc
 al Langlands program.\n
