DESCRIPTION:Abstract: In this talk\, I will present one of my projects dur
ing my PhD. By taking advantage of the fact that the human visual system d
oes not perceive all colors the same way\, being sensitive to changes in s
ome colors more than others\, a chroma processing scheme is presented to r
educe the color errors generated by the quantization and subsampling proce
sses in the HDR video delivery pipeline. Our method redistributes chroma c
ode-words in favor of those colors that our eyes are most sensitive to. Ob
jective evaluations have shown that the proposed chroma processing can sig
nificantly improve the color accuracy of the tested HDR video content.
