DESCRIPTION:Come to the Department of Chemistry to hear from the legendary
  alchemy expert\, experimenter\, and the second speaker of the IYPT Sympos
 ium - Dr Andrew Szydlo FRSC! Known for his fabulous textbooks on the histo
 ry of chemistry and epic performances at The Royal Institution\, Dr Szydlo
  graduated from Imperial College London and obtained a PhD in history & ph
 ilosophy of science from University College London.  As well as giving num
 erous public talks\, Dr Szydlo is also involved in chemistry education thr
 ough his occupation\, as a teacher at Highgate School\, London.\n\nTCSS an
 d ChemSoc have come together\, on occasion of the IUPAC International Year
  of Periodic Table of Chemical Elements 2019\, to bring you this talk as p
 art of the larger IYPT Celebration Symposium. Dr Szydlo intends to outline
  (from historical perspective) the role of hydrogen in the universe! It wi
 ll take place in the Bristol-Myers-Squibb Lecture Theatre\, starting at 19
 :30. The talk has free entry\, and refreshments will be provided. We hope
