DESCRIPTION:Have you ever heard of Developmental Language Disorder (DLD)? 
 On average\, 2 to 3 children in UK classrooms have DLD which means they ex
 perience significant difficulties with understanding and using language. C
 hildren with DLD are at a higher risk of developing social anxiety\, emoti
 onal and behavioural difficulties\, and find it particularly challenging t
 o access the curriculum in schools. Fortunately\, this trajectory is not s
 et in stone and we can all contribute to the wellbeing and success of thes
 e children!\n\nIn this event\, we invite you to engage in an interactive w
 orkshop to demystify DLD\, find out about the latest research on the topic
  and learn strategies to support children with difficulties in using and u
 nderstanding language. There will be opportunities to engage in stimulatin
 g activities and hear from experts\, such as researchers\, Speech and Lang
 uage Therapists\, SENCo\, specialist teachers and parents of children with
  DLD. Do bring your little ones as well\, as there will be fun activities 
 for children to 'graduate' as junior scientists on language!\n\n****Regist
