DESCRIPTION:Laura Itzhaki's talk will focus on a new technology that PolyP
 rox Therapeutics has developed to harness the cell's internal quality-cont
 rol machinery.  Their approach shortcuts cell signals to redirect the mach
 inery to dispose of disease-associated proteins.  In 2019\, PolyProx Thera
 peutics secured seed financing to develop drug candidates exploiting this 
 technology.
