DESCRIPTION:Digital interface designers often assume that users will have
a certain level of digital interface competence\, but this is often not th
e case. In this talk I will present results from a recent survey we ran sh
owing how basic technology competence is distributed across the population
\, and examining variables that affect this. \n\nThere will also be a chan
ce to discuss issues around conducting and running surveys more generally.
