DESCRIPTION:Novel quantum phases in non Fermi liquids that emerge upon sup
pression of a magnetic phase have been one of the focuses of condensed mat
ter physics. One of the well studied examples is exotic superconductivity
near the quantum criticality of heavy fermion systems. On the other hand\,
geometrical frustration approach provides another way to suppress convent
ional magnetism\nand promote a novel low temperature phase. Here\, I will
talk about our recent findings of two different examples for such phenomen
 a. One is on the superconductivity and quantum criticality observed in the
first Yb based heavy fermion superconductor YbAlB4. The other is the spin
liquid phase of the geometrically frustrated Kondo lattice Pr2Ir2O7 that
 exhibits a\n"spontaneous" anomalous Hall effect.\n
