  a Professor of International Law at the London School of Economics. Her r
 esearch covers themes such as democracy\, poverty\, torture\, counter-terr
 orism and apology\, exploring their character and significance as problems
  of international law and human rights. Her current work is concerned with
  exploitation and dispossession\, and with some general questions to do wi
 th the prospects of systematic theory in international law. She also works
  with the International State Crime Initiative.\n\n_The event is organised
  by the Decolonise Law Student Group together with the CGHR Student Group.
