DESCRIPTION:The solutions to elliptic PDEs on domains with corners often e
 xhibit singularities at the corners\, which pose difficulties for numerica
 l methods. Recently\, it was found that the approximation power of rationa
 l functions can be used in this context to obtain higher-order convergence
 \, in a manner related to the method of fundamental solutions. In this tal
 k\, we focus on the extension of these ideas to the case of Helmholtz equa
 tion.
