DESCRIPTION:After working on the Islands for most of 2019\, Ben is in the
process of developing a new Veterinary programme for 2020 to attend to the
growing need for veterinary healthcare in this archipelago. When you thin
k of the Galapagos Islands\, you think of their unique and endemic wildlif
e\, its pioneering research into conservation\, and the source of Charles
Darwin’s Theory of Evolution. However\, Ben hopes to bring recognition t
o the areas not often talked about on Documentaries\; the growing conflict
between domesticated animals and wildlife.\n\nThis talk will provide an i
ncredible insight into the veterinary world of invasive species\, the prob
lems they are causing\, but also the problems that are affecting them.\n
