DESCRIPTION:The large Nc limit of QCD (t'Hooft limit) constitutes a simpli
fication of the theory that preserves most of its non-perturbative propert
ies\, including confinement and spontaneous chiral symmetry breaking. It a
lso leads to some definite predictions such as a non-existing Delta I=1/2
rule. Many phenomenological approaches to hadron physics employ approximat
ions inspired by this limit\, even for quantities such as the former\, whe
re the prediction is off. In this talk\, I will present lattice results fo
r some observables relevant for light meson physics\, varying the number o
f colors\, and study the expected 1/Nc scaling.
