DESCRIPTION:Schizophrenia is defined by psychosis but also presents a rang
 e of\nother non-psychotic phenomena including behavioural\, physical and\n
 mental symptoms. Medication is effective for psychosis but might also\ncau
 se\, unmask or worsen phenomena that resemble schizophrenia’s\nnon-psych
 otic symptoms. After decades of antipsychotic treatment\,\ndistinguishing 
 between the primary and secondary phenomena is crucial\nfor patient’s ef
 fective treatment and might also help in our\nunderstanding of the illness
  itself. Here\, I will explain our recent\nwork on the description\, under
 standing and management of some of the\nantipsychotic-induced symptoms.
