DESCRIPTION:Algorithms for computing the 1- and 2-cohomology of finite gro
 ups acting on finite dimensional modules will be discussed.<br> <br> Appli
 cations to finding subgroups of finite groups and to classifying transitiv
 e permutation groups of low degree will be described.<br> <br> We also des
 cribe briefly methods for computing the projective indecomposable modules
