DESCRIPTION:In the passage from Renaissance to Modernism and the current p
eriod architecture has served humanistic priorities\, however the techniqu
es that have been employed to produce it and consequently the ways such pr
iorities have been met are manifestations of the technological innovations
that characterise each time. Further to this observation\, in view of the
global environmental and socio-urban challenges our planet is faced with\
, the pair nature/technology offers a new paradigm for the discipline’s
future. In their crossing\, alternative visions may emerge as strategies a
nd modes of co-habitation often of no prior historical reference.\n
