 sity of Cambridge)*\n\nIn this session\, Sebastian will share part of his 
 PhD research on North/South dynamics in international development politics
 . Based on an in-depth study of Mexico and Turkey as actors and spaces at 
 odds with the evolving but sticky division between ‘North’ and ‘Sout
 h’\, Sebastian builds on insights from liminality research\, queer studi
 es and the spatial turn in the social sciences to develop the Thirding Len
 s: a heuristic to approach and make sense of phenomena that do not fit wit
