DESCRIPTION:Next-generation sequencing technologies\, new immuno-profile a
 ssays\, and liquid biopsies aid researchers in studying tumor development 
 over time. There is a critical need for visualizations to help researchers
  explore temporal patterns not just in a single patient but across a cohor
 t. To address this need OncoThreads (http://oncothreads.gehlenborglab.org)
  was developed\, a tool for the visualization of longitudinal cancer genom
 ics data in patient cohorts. The tool visualizes patient cohorts as tempor
 al heatmaps and Sankey diagrams that support the interactive exploration a
 nd ranking of a wide range of clinical and genomic features. This approach
  allows analysts to discover temporal patterns in longitudinal data\, such
  as the effect of mutations on the success of a treatment. the functionali
 ty of  OncoThreadsis being demonstrated by using a glioblastoma data set.
