DESCRIPTION:What boundedness assumptions on the solution of an equation\nc
ause it to vanish everywhere? This is the question that a Liouville\ntype
theorem seeks to answer. For reasons that will become apparent\,\nthese re
sults are intimately related to problems of regularity and\nuniqueness. In
this talk\, we will consider Liouville type theorems for\nequations arisi
ng in the study of incompressible fluid dynamics. In\nparticular\, we will
give a criterion for smooth solutions of the\nstationary equations of mag
neto-hydrodynamics (MHD) to be identically\nzero. The result in question i
s a refinement of previous ones\, all of\nwhich systematically required st
ronger integrability and the additional\nassumption of finite Dirichlet in
tegral\, and builds on the earlier works of Seregin\, Chae and Weng\, and
 Chae and Wolf.\n
