DESCRIPTION:Therapy animals are the animals that are used to comfort peopl
e in several different settings. They are different than service and emoti
onal support animals. Service animals are employed by the people that have
some physical limitations. For instance\, the people who use wheelchairs
or those who need some help in moving around take service animals as help.
These animals need special training.\n\nEmotional support animals\, on th
e other hand\, do not need any special training to be an ESA. They just ne
ed to be well mannered and disciplined. Unlike an emotional support animal
  that needs an "ESA letter":URL=https://www.realesaletter.com/sample-esa-l
etter\, a therapy animal is registered as a therapy animal and it visits d
ifferent places along with its owner.\n\nBelow are some places where these
therapy animals are changing lives.\n\n*Courtrooms*\nBringing in therapy
animals in the courtrooms helps the victim's and especially children who h
ave gone through a trauma and are there to testify against the convicted.
Courtrooms are intense and not everyone could withstand the environment.\n
\nTherapy dogs and cats stand with the victims to give them the feeling th
at they are not alone. Reportedly\, running your hands in a dog or cat's c
oat relieves stress and helps to ease the person's senses.\n\n*Hospitals*\
nOther than courtrooms\, therapy animals play an important role in hospita
ls and nursing homes also. Since\, the family members of the patients coul
d not stay with them all the time\, they feel lonely and desolate when lef
t alone. This leads to isolation and depression\, which cause other mental
and emotional problems.\n\nHaving an animal like a "ESA dog":URL=https://
 www.realesaletter.com/emotional-support-dog-certification or a cat as a co
mpanion helps the patients in relieving their stress and feel less isolate
 d. People who are in hospital are more sensitive and many of them think th
at people are judging them. In case of animals\, they know that no one is
judging them.\n\n*Hospices*\nA hospice is a place where the person batting
from a deadly disease may spend the final months of his or her life. It i
s different than a hospital because here\, people are not treated of their
disease but the staff makes sure that their final days are as painless an
d peaceful as possible.\n\nAnimals are notorious for the or infectious per
sonalities. Visits from therapy dogs and cats provide companionship to the
dying and helps them build relationship with the or families also. This m
inimizes loneliness\, isolation and depression.\n\n*Educational Institutio
ns*\nChildren who have just started their schooling are very anxious about
the new setting and are afraid of leaving their house. Therapy animals\,
especially dogs\, are very friendly as they are trained to be comfortable
around strangers. Having these playful creatures around help the kids to b
e happy and make friends with each other.\n\nOther than newschoolers\, the
se animals also help the students in universities and colleges to relieve
their exam anxiety. Exam season is tough and the entire institute is usual
ly drenched in exam fever and stress. Presence of these furballs loosen up
this stress and help everyone relax.\n\nAnimals are absolutely fun to hav
e around. The or carefree and easygoing personalities make them ideal as s
ervice\, therapy and emotional support animals. However\, in case of getti
ng and ESA\, it is better to ask for a "free emotional support animal lett
