DESCRIPTION:Collins and Székelhyidi developed a notion of K-semistability
  for\npolarized affine cones and proved it is an obstruction for scalar-fl
 at\nKähler metrics to exist on the cone. In this talk\, I will explain th
 at\nCollins--Székelhyidi K-semistability coincides with the weighted\nK-s
 emistability of the regular quotient whenever there is one and I\nwill giv
 e evidence that the latter notion is finer.  This is part of\nan ongoing j
 oint work with Apostolov and Calderbank.
