DESCRIPTION:Professor Ronaldo C. da Costa is a Professor and Service Head 
 of Neurology and Neurosurgery at The Ohio University in USA. He leads an a
 ctive clinical and research program\, focused primarily on spinal diseases
 . Professor da Costa has published over 110 articles and book chapters\, i
 ncluding 45 on cervical spondylomyelopathy\, has authored two books and re
 ceived over 30 awards\, including 7 teaching awards at the Ohio State Univ
 ersity.\n\nIn this seminar\, Professor da Costa will present a series of s
 tudies aimed at understanding the etiology\, pathogenesis and natural hist
 ory of cervical spondylomyelopathy\, as well as offer refinement of diagno
 stic and treatment strategies for the disease.\n
