DESCRIPTION:VERTICAL AI WORKFLOWS IN BIOENGINEERING\nFrancesco Ciriello\,
Education Customer Success Engineer at MathWorks\n\nJoin us for a short ta
lk dedicated to the application of machine and deep learning algorithms to
bio-engineering systems. In this session\, I will run through a complete
workflow examples for the classification of a ECG signal to detect abnorma
lities in a heart signal.\n\nMachine learning is a data analytics techniqu
e that teaches computers to do what comes naturally to humans and animals:
learn from experience. Machine learning algorithms use computational meth
ods to “learn” information directly from data without relying on a pre
determined equation as a model. Using MATLAB\, engineers and other domain
experts have deployed thousands of applications for predictive maintenance
 \, sensor analytics\, finance\, and communication electronics.\n\nAbout th
e presenter:\nDr Francesco Ciriello is an Education Customer Success Engin
eer at MathWorks specialized in machine learning and image processing appl
ications for embedded systems.\n\nCafé Synthetique is the monthly meetup
for the Cambridge synthetic biology community with informal talks\, discus
sion and pub snacks. It is kindly sponsored by Cambridge Consultants.
