DESCRIPTION:The Witt complex of a scheme can be thought of as the negative
degree part of Gersten complexes for Milnor-Witt K-theory. Depending on t
he data of a residual complex\, we will describe generalisations of the cl
assical second residue homormophism for Witt groups - which are the protot
ype for the boundary maps appearing in the Witt complex. We&#39\;ll sketch
why our residue homomorphisms assemble to form a Witt complex - even in c
haracteristic 2 - with a focus on understanding the similarities between o
ur construction and Balmer&#39\;s
