  It’s an example of a recommending system and these have taken off in th
 e last 10 years across different applications: News Websites\, Computer Ga
 mes\, Knowledge Bases\, Social Media Platforms\, Stock Trading Support Sys
 tems and so on. There are many examples: YouTube\, Tinder\, and Amazon\, B
 BC news. Netflix was one of the firsts to start giving their clients perso
 nal recommendations\, but they had to start small like everyone else. In t
 he presentation\, I will talk about the interesting history of Netflix\, g
 o through their recommending system and delight you with some fun facts!
