DESCRIPTION:Erwin Schrödinger is famous not only for his equation\, but a
 lso for his extravagant love life. Hopefully the history will forgive us i
 f we cheat on him the way he cheated on his wife. It turns out\, that it i
 s possible to circumvent the Schrödinger equation to obtain quantum resul
 ts directly from a fully classical simulation. I shall explore some of the
  methods that try to get the best of both worlds - with a help from anothe
 r eccentric Nobel prize winner\, this time one that loved to play the bong
 os and pick locks...
