DESCRIPTION:Cosmic microwave background and large scale structure observat
 ions have played a crucial role in constructing the standard model of cosm
 ology. Discovery of astrophysical gravitational waves has opened a new ave
 nue to explore the cosmos using transients. In my talk\, I will discuss a 
 few new frontiers in the field of physical cosmology and fundamental physi
 cs which can be explored using gravitational waves from the ongoing LIGO-V
 irgo observatory and with the future gravitational wave missions such as L
 ISA\, Einstein Telescope and Cosmic Explorer. I will elucidate the existen
 ce of synergies between the electromagnetic signals and gravitational wave
  signals and its importance in understanding the standard model of cosmolo
 gy.\n
