DESCRIPTION:The commercialisation process of new technologies is full of u
 ncertainties\, especially in the increasingly competitive global economy o
 f today. Considering the constraints of time and resources\, companies usu
 ally work together to capture emerging opportunities or create new opportu
 nities. However\, network based business models are poorly understood due 
 to the involvement of tacit knowledge and complex interdependencies. Our r
 esearch aims to develop a framework that will help CIKC partners to unders
 tand the opportunities and challenges in accessing and developing global v
 alue networks\; and outline practical tools for CIKC partners to establish
  and sustain competitive advantages with collaborative networks\n\n \n\n
