DESCRIPTION:We give a model-theoretic characterization of the class of geo
 metric theories classified by an atomic topos having enough points\; in pa
 rticular\, we show that every complete geometric theory which is classifie
 d by an atomic topos is countably categorical. We will also  discuss some
