DESCRIPTION:As part of the University of Cambridge Festival of Ideas\, the
  Whipple Museum's 'Science of Musical Sound' project presents a talk by Re
 search Fellow Dr Torben Rees on the history of the science of music from 1
 700 to 1900. Using demonstration instruments and clips of music\, Dr Rees 
 will show how instruments from this period were used in the study of the s
 cience of music.\n\nThe talk starts at 6pm. The Museum galleries will be o
 pen for visitors to explore before and after the talk.\n\nThis event has b
