DESCRIPTION:This talk will consist of two presentations followed by the tr
 aditional Q&A session. Please get your questions ready!\n\nTalk 1: Prof. J
 abbour explores the evolution of green supply chain management to sustaina
 ble supply chains 4.0. \nThe potential effects of the COVID-19 pandemic on
  the increased demand for smart technologies in sustainable supply chains 
 will be addressed. We will explore the possibilities of developing ‘soci
 ally responsible’ new smart technologies capable of unlocking truly sust
 ainable Agri-food chains.\n\nTalk 2: Prof. Pearson will reflect upon the A
 gri-food chain innovation opportunities that have emerged post COVID. This
  includes a renewed need to accelerate the development of robotic technolo
 gies and digital systems to connect supply chains. Simon will report on a 
 national initiative (“Accelerated Automation”) to drive the agri-robot
 ics research and feedback from industry for the key challenges.
