 ems in Computer Vision. With the rise of learning-based approaches\, the c
 ommunity has identified many unique imbalance problems pertinent to object
  detection. In this talk\, I will first provide a taxonomy of the approach
 es and a general picture of open issues for addressing imbalance in object
  detection. Then\, I will present our recent proposals mitigating such imb
