DESCRIPTION:In response to the pandemic the global economy must now reasse
ss and reimagine modes of consumption\, supply\, interaction\, productivit
y and\, last but not least - security. What does the accelerated move into
digital modes mean for cyber risks?\n\nCountering cyber threats successfu
lly requires a focus on human behaviour as well as technology enhancement.
This networking webinar brings together two academic experts to look at b
oth digital security by design and human factors\, and will review key are
as of concern for cyber risk altered by Covid-19 and their long term effec
ts.\n\nSpeakers: \n\nProf SIMON MOORE\, Department for Computer Science an
d Technology: "Toward trustworthy computer systems"\n\nSimon conducts rese
arch and teaching in the general area of computer architecture with partic
ular interests in secure and rigorously-engineered processors and subsyste
ms\, such as memory-protection features that safeguard against many curren
tly widely exploited vulnerabilities. He is a leading contributor to the C
HERI project (Capability Hardware Enhanced RISC Instructions) for digital
security by design. \n\nDr JENNIFER DAFFRON\, Research Associate\, Cambri
dge Centre for Risk Studies: "Increased rate of digitisation in response t
o Covid-19 - what it means for cyber risk moving forward"\n\nJennifer lead
s the research on digital risk at the Cambridge Centre for Risk Studies. H
er research defines and exposes cyber threat vulnerabilities on organisati
onal and human behavioural platforms for companies around the world. Jenni
