dwork has long been seen as integral to Earth Sciences\, and discussions o
ver its role and prominence are often highly charged. Although a key way t
o learn many geological concepts\, fieldwork is undoubtedly exclusionary i
n nature\, and conversations around the future of fieldwork must consider
how best to make it as accessible and inclusive as possible. I will discus
s some of the challenges and opportunities that fieldwork presents\, and s
hare resources to help promote inclusivity. Suggested reading: https://doi
