DESCRIPTION:Domain Specific Languages have been a hot research topic in re
 cent years\, but in spite of the impressive theoretical advancement of thi
 s innovative approach there is an obvious lack of practical programming to
 ols to support it. This talk is devoted to the MBase framework\, which is 
 designed specifically for the practical implementation of DSLs for Microso
 ft's .NET platform.\n\nWith the MBase framework it is possible to implemen
 t a professional-quality compiler for a reasonably complex programming lan
 guage within a couple of hours\, which makes it an ideal environment for e
 xperimenting with language designs. The presentation will cover the framew
 ork's design and architecture\, the Language-Oriented Programming methodol
 ogy in general\, and some innovative methods in compiler implementation.
