DESCRIPTION:This presentation will describe work conducted under two proje
 cts in the Landscape Decisions programme. We will outline the role we beli
 eve ABC and particle MCMC can play in calibrating landscape models\, descr
 ibe the current state of software being developed to allow other researche
 rs to easily use these methods\, and introduce a new technique called "rar
