DESCRIPTION:Within the Translational Cancer Genomics group at the Wellcome
  Sanger Institute\, Hayley's work is focused upon the derivation\, charact
 erisation and use of cancer organoid models for phenotypic screens to iden
 tify novel cancer therapies/targets as well as genetic biomarkers of drug 
 response. \n\n\n\nHayley is the project lead for the Sanger Institute's co
 ntribution to the international Human Cancer Models Initiative which aims 
 to create a new cancer cell model resource.\n\n\n\nHayley is a Principal S
 taff Scientist in the Translational Cancer Genomics group and prior to thi
 s conducted a postdoc within the group. Hayley obtained her PhD from Cardi
 ff University in collaboration with Astra Zeneca where she studied mechani
 sms of resistance to anti-hormone therapies in breast cancer.\n\n
