DESCRIPTION:Ruaidhrí completed his BSc and PhD in Biochemistry at Univers
 ity College Cork before moving to the University of Pennsylvania where he 
 spent five years as a post doc and another three as a Senior Research Inve
 stigator. He returned to his alma mater briefly before moving to the Insti
 tute of Infection\, Immunity and Inflammation at the University of Glasgow
 . His research group focuses on the molecular mechanisms controlling innat
 e immune responses that trigger inflammation\, with a particular focus on 
 the NF-ĸB transcription factor and more recently the MAPK pathway.\n\nJoi
