 e built environment In the past\,\nsustainable design was about energy\nef
 ficiency and building out of timber Now we\nrealise it is much more than t
 hat\, as can be\nseen in the Construction Declares manifesto\nIn order to 
 tackle the Climate Emergency we\nneed to build less\, refurbish wherever\n
 possible\, and be considered and thoughtful\nabout where we use our carbon
  Natasha\nwill talk through some of the initiatives and\npragmatic ways in
  which she is reducing the\nimpact her designs have on climate change\,\nf
 or example challenging the client on what\n‘ really means\, and understa
 nding\nwhere ‘quick win’ carbon savings can be\nmade if programme and 
 fee are tight
