DESCRIPTION:The Bridge at Hughes Hall presents a series of four online pan
 el and audience discussions.\n\nThe COVID-19 pandemic has impacted broadly
  on the ecosystems in which we are working\, affecting knowledge\, skills\
 , mental health\, relationships and other important aspects of our daily l
 ives. In this event we take a cross-disciplinary look at how COVID-19 has 
 impacted particularly on knowledge\, skills and health and we ask a panel 
 of experts to reflect on the following questions:\n\n* What have been the 
 major impacts of COVID-19 in terms of knowledge or skill formation as well
  as health?\n* What are the main equity issues raised by COVID-19 within y
 our area of research?\n* How has the system in which your work is embedded
  responded to the COVID-19 crisis to minimise its impacts on knowledge\, s
 kills or health?\n* What are the strategies in moving forward to make the 
 system more resilient to Global Health challenges?\n* What are some of the
  key areas of research in moving forward?\n\nSpeakers:\n\n* Professor Tams
 in Ford\, Department of Psychiatry\n* Dr Caroline Trotter\, Departments of
  Veterinary Medicine and Pathology\n* Professor Paul Tracey\, Judge Busine
 ss School\n* Professor Ricardo Sabates Aysa\, Faculty of Education\n\nThe 
 format will be a moderated panel discussion (30 minutes) where each panell
 ist will introduce a question or sub-theme with a short address to which o
 ther panellists can respond with questions and comments that provide furth
 er insights. After the panel discussion\, all people attending will join o
 ne of a range of breakout rooms with one of the panellists for further dis
 cussion (20 minutes) on their sub-theme. In the final plenary session\, th
 e outcome of the discussions in each breakout group will be shared to iden
 tify where intersections and opportunities for future research or impact m
 ay exist.\n\nThis meeting is open to both members and non members of Hughe
 s Hall.
