DESCRIPTION:In the midst of a pandemic\, health services have been stretch
 ed and changed in a way that has not been experienced before. Such pressur
 e and organisational change risks dramatically worsening the experience of
  both healthcare professionals\, and of patients. In a worse case scenario
 \, health outcomes for patients and communities could deteriorate. What if
  there was something that could help? This talk will explore the concept o
 f compassion and its impact on the human body. Existing research will be p
 resented for consideration\, followed by a personal account of using these
