DESCRIPTION:\nResearch integrity is relevant to researchers\, regardless o
f their role because it supports:\n•	rigorous and robust research practi
ce and thus reproducible research\n•	the honest\, accurate and transpare
nt reporting of research designs\, methods\, resources\, results and data\
n•	collaborative and open working relationships\n•	care and respect fo
r patients\, research animals and the environment\n•	public trust in sci
ence\nReports in recent years indicate that research misconduct is on the
rise\, and that there are significant concerns about research practices\,
the reporting of research results\, and about the reproducibility of publi
shed biological research. To effectively tackle these issues\, we need to
recognise the factors that contribute to these issues\, at the level of in
dividual researchers\, the cultures they work in\, and across the research
system. In this webinar\, I will discuss these issues and explore how the
y are interconnected and relevant to individual researchers across the res
earch landscape.\n\nJane Alfred is a professional editor and trainer who s
pecialises in providing training and support to the research and publishin
g communities on responsible research practice\, research integrity\, peer
review and publication ethics. \nJane is also a member of the UK Research
Integrity Office (UKRIO) advisory board and is an associate member of COP
E.\n\n\n\nNo registration required\, click here to join live:\nhttps://zoo
