DESCRIPTION:DNA is much more than ACGT. I will give a broad overview of th
 e experimental and computational technologies and challenges used to map a
 nd understand epigenetic modifications and structures in DNA. We are just 
 beginning to appreciate how changes to the chemistry of DNA play a key rol
 e in the development of diseases e.g. cancer and control the life cycle an
 d development of several eukaryotic species. Using recent projects from my
  own collaborative research with talented chemists and biologists I will i
 ntroduce the state of the art in the areas of DNA epigenetics from a compu
