DESCRIPTION:Digital Molecular Technologies will transform chemical discove
 ry\, process optimisation and chemical manufacture. A new Innovation Centr
 e in DMT\, led by Professor Alexei Lapkin from the University of Cambridge
 \, will accelerate access to pharmaceuticals\, agrochemicals\, functional 
 molecules and molecular materials through machine learning and robotics-ba
 sed synthesis. Hear about what it can do for SMEs working in these areas. 
 \n\nThe new centre\, a collaboration between University of Cambridge\, Ast
 raZeneca and Shionogi\, aims to stimulate the development of a sustained p
 ipeline of new products and services for digital transformation of chemica
 l synthesis. For SMEs it is the opportunity to adopt AI as well as develop
  new products for the emerging DMT markets.\n“Access to new functional m
 olecules and materials continues to be a major bottleneck in many chemistr
 y-using industries\, such as medicine\, food\, electronics and energy” s
 aid Prof Lapkin\, Director of iDMT.\n\n\nA variety of new tools are requir
 ed to support the transformation of chemistry into the fully digital domai
 n: data science\, data standardisation\, algorithms for discovery and deve
 lopment\, robotic equipment\, automated analytical chemistry\, digital pro
 cess twins and many more.\n\nIn this webinar you will hear about the types
  of project the Centre will support\, and what the implications of these p
