 nding to and in the aftermath of a disaster. During this session\, an over
 view of what constitutes as the ideal strategy for risk communication will
  be outlined through a series of top tips. This will be followed by presen
 tations on the practical realities of these principles\, including example
 s of communication strategies being implemented in the field\, and a discu
 ssion about social media companies’ role in overcoming issues of misinfo
 rmation in an emergency.
