DESCRIPTION:I will discuss non-perturbative quantum gravity effects releva
 nt in the early universe cosmology. We will study two-dimensional toy mode
 ls of inflation and discover that geometries that connect the bra with the
  ket of the wave function of the universe\, bra-ket wormholes\, have to be
  included for consistency of the models. This has potential consequences f
 or basic cosmological observables\, like the power spectrum of primordial 
 fluctuations.
