DESCRIPTION:The impacts of colonialism all over the world are well documen
 ted. The dehumanising\, racist\, objectifying\, exploitative\, practises a
 nd processes of colonialism linger in our midst contextualised in the conc
 ept of coloniality. The impact of these systemic processes in many parts o
 f Africa\, has meant that Western cultures and technologies are dominant\,
  and perceived to be more superior and sometimes preferred at the expense 
 of indigenous knowledge and lifeways. Decolonisation (and transformation i
 n South Africa) are processes aimed at reversing the wrongs of colonialism
 . So\, I reflect on and my experience working with communities to suggest 
 ways of challenging or engaging coloniality.\n\nPlease join us on Zoom for
